IRON MAN FLY CONTEST 2022" is in the books and the Great Smoky Mountain Trout Unlimited chapter wishes to thank everyone who made it possible!
As always we want to thank our great sponsors TFO Rods, Smoky Mountain Angler, Little River Angler, 3 Rivers Angler and Dead End BBQ. We also extend our appreciation to this years contest judges Chad Fouts of Smoky Mountain Angler and Thomas Andersen of 3 Rivers Angler!

We were excited to see our top three winners were a mix of first time and experienced competitors. First place winner and first time "IRON MAN FLY CONTEST" tier was Connor Hren and second place winner was GSM TU member Wes Peters. Congratulations to them as they both carried home a new TFO BVK Legacy rods. 

We also want to congratulate third place winner David Holdrige. A first time contestant and representing the University of Tennessee, "Vols on the Fly" 5 Rivers TU chapter. David took home the Fish Pond Fly Tying Bag, the deluxe fly tiers travel bag.

This year was the first time an audience member could win and take home a rod. Congrats to GSM TU member and board member Jonah Duran. He also took home a new TFO  BVK Legacy rod.
