TU NATIONAL SET TO RELEASE NEW LOGO

I received notice from the TU national office that they are getting ready to release an updated version of the TU logo. My first glance is basically a better version of the Trout and more modern graphics as far as printed words. The best news is that they have offered at no charge (my favorite part) to help chapters design a chapter logo with their graphic people using the new logo with chapter personalization. I sent back a request to be a part of that project as soon as I got the email and hope to hear back from them soon. If it works out I will send out to our members and board their design suggestions and ask everyone to choose the one they like best.

In addition they have been testing the new online community website with about 100 members across the country from different chapters, I have been part of the pilot group. Basically most of the  responses from the group has focused more on format, whether on desktops, laptops, tablets and of course mobile phones, Everyone's main concern I think to to this point is making sure navigating the site and using it is truly user friendly. There are some people on it so far who have past experience in design and building of  sites and seen to have the insight into the mechanics of how to make it work. I  approach my requests as exactly what I am, not an expert but a user focused on making sure the average person ( i.e. me and other regular folks), can and will use it and be another tool our members can reach out to others. I will continue to update any new info regarding release of that website.
