If you have never been to Blue Ridge Georgia you have missed a great destination. If you like Bryson City NC, or any western town where the street is lined with fly shop, restaurants and breweries this weekend is ground zero for all things fly fishing. Just minutes from the Toccoa river in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. I have volunteered in the past for this event and highly recommend going to Blue Ridge Georgia TU TROUT FESTIVAL.

Friday, April 24. The dinner features a program on the restoration/improvements of brook trout streams in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The evening includes a silent auction; a short address from Speaker David Ralston of the GA state legislature; a presentation on the local brook trout waters projects between TU and the US Forest Service; and keynote speaker CEO Chris Wood of TU will speak to the association of TU and agencies/organizations that have positively impacted Southern brook trout waters.
