Folks, I cannot say enough about this event, last year I had the honor of working as a shuttle driver that day on the water. Steve Thompson and his wife have worked tirelessly the last few years forming the Knoxville area Project Healing Waters chapter. I have known Steve and his wife through the Clinch River TU and over time have witnessed their personal involvement not just in time but financially.

This event on the Clinch River starts with a benefit dinner at the Museum of Appalachia and culminates with a fishing challenge on the water. Local guides and celebrities man the boats with a veteran for a day of competition, our own GSM TU member, John Becker from Channel 10 took part and his guide's boat took home some awards.
