PRESENTS “IRON MAN FLY CONTEST 2023”

“The registration for the “IRON MAY FLY CONTEST” is available through the link below. Join us on Thursday January 26th, 2023, at 6PM as we host the annual winter event of the season at Dead End BBQ, 3621 Sutherland Ave Knoxville TN. This is a rollicking, fun-filled night as competitors and audience gather to help raise funds to send a deserving child to “Trout Camp” in the Smoky Mountains this summer. The camp provides a week of conservation, outdoors education and of course fishing for wild trout!

Our competitors will try to rise to the top as they compete in a fast paced event where they will tie flies from the craziest materials we can dream up. Yes, there is even a blindfold round where no matter your skill level everyone is equal as they do their best while blindfolded to impress the judges. This one of a kind night is limited to just 20 fly tiers so enter early and get registered at the link listed below.

Did we mention prizes, you bet there is! This year’s 1st & 2nd place winners will be taking home a brand BVK Legacy rod from our sponsor, TFO rods. That’s in addition for other contestants to win great gear and prizes from our long-time sponsors Smoky Mountain Angler, Little River Outfitters, 3 Rivers Angler and our host Dead End BBQ. We are also excited to add for the second year ever someone in the crowd will be taking home a brand new rod that night!
