GIVE A GIFT TO YOURSELF AND GET A DOZEN FLYS! DONATE TO YOUR CHAPTER TODAY!

In October our chapter board and I on a conference call brainstormed ways to raise money for our chapter budget. The responsibility of our budget rests with us as a chapter. Grant money for conservation work can be acquired through National TU and our state council but the annual membership fee we pay does not go directly to us as a chapter. We can receive a portion of a new member's first year fee; so new members can help in reaching budget goals and volunteer hours can help also.

The two "BASS PRO HOT DOG" fundraisers in October and November helped give us a jump-start; but we still have a ways to go. Our goal was to make the next effort as easy as possible for our members to help and still get something back for your donation.

Those wishing to help the chapter with our budget for 2016 and donate $50 or more will receive along with a thank you from the chapter a dozen flies to use in the Smokies or a local tail-water. Flies may vary from a dozen elk hair caddis or a dozen pheasant tails Any amount is gratefully accepted but $50 or more will earn you the flies, and if you don't need the flies we will donate the them to groups we work with for their events. Donations can be made over the phone or by mail: CALL 865-556-3141 to Donate by phone or : Please make check payable to Great Smoky Mountain TU &
