The cook-out was an evening of fun and fellowship with the Little River TU chapter our hosts; this was the second event this summer with another chapter.  River John's if you have never been there is always a surprise for first timers. The moment you drive thru the water on to the island you know this is a special place. That first view of the Little River as it makes it's turn downstream makes it hard to believe this little jewel is right in our own backyard. I look forward to more shared meetings with our regional chapters!

Yes, it stopped raining right on time at 6 o'clock as we started cooking and after dinner even with high, fast and stained water a few got out with fly  and spinning rods. Below is one of the Little River members wearing them out on his spinner. this was the second and largest of two he caught as we watched. This one had his rod bent like a question mark, great job landing this bad boy!
