"KIDS FISH FREE DAY"! SATURDAY JUNE 9TH 2018-MILLERS ISLAND-CLINCH RIVER

Volunteers for Kids Fish Free Day (June 9)

Calling all volunteers to help with this year's Kids Fish Free Day on Sat., June 9. We'll need to set the tent (strong, TALL guys) and as many adult volunteers as we can get as there will be the same stations to help the kids get waders on, get them fixed up with rods and bait (or flies), volunteers to take them in the water (or on boats) --oh, yeah, we'll need 6-7 boats-- as well as tie flies, help with cooking and serving lunch, registration, giving out door prizes, etc. If you have friends, think about asking them to volunteer, too. We had several people not associated with TU volunteer last year and I hope they'll be back again.

Dianne Sowell has offered to be co-coordinator this year, so maybe I'll be a little less frantic--but not likely! Please contact either me or Dianne (sowell83@comcast.net) to let us know you're wanting to give the kids another great outdoor experience.
